DOUBLETAKE started jamming for fun in 2008 when Lauren Phillips (lead
vocalist), Katie Shettler (rhythm guitar), and identical twins -- hence the
name DOUBLETAKE -- Nick Lewan (drums) and Zack Lewan (lead
guitar) met during Milford Music's Summer Rock Camp. In January of 2009,
the group completed the band roster with the addition of bass player, Jeremy
McCoy. The band is quickly making a name for itself with its high energy,
flashy dress, and 80's rock songs.
In May of 2009, DOUBLETAKE
won "Outstanding Performance Group" in the Huron Valley's "Got
Talent?" competition. We have played at few High School Graduation
Parties, Milford Memories, Fisk Farm Festival, Horsin Around in Highland, the
Holly Dickens Festival duringthe Christmas holiday season and Relay for
Life in Milford.
