The time is approaching for the 4th annual HBA Founders Golf Outing. This was started to honor, not only the HBA's past Presidents, but also to honor those who helped the HBA become the associaton that it is today. There are many, many people who put many hours in to establish the HBA into the great organization that it has become.
The Golf outing will be a 4 person scramble and will start at 10:00am on Wednesday August 20th 2008. The cost is $75.00 per person and will include 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and dinner. If you can pay by August 1, 2008, the cost is reduced to $65.00 per person. This is a great value for all you'll be getting at this great event. We hope all our members of the HBA and our golf league will be able to participate, but, you don't have to be a member of either group to play in this outing. The outing is open to the public and we will have a great event planned for those who participate.
We're not only looking for golfers, but also, hole sponsors, door prizes and volunteers. It is $50.00 to sponsor a hole or $100.00 to sponsor the 'whole' hole. That means you would get 3 signs on the same hole for the price of two. We'll also need some volunteers to help us with some special events on the course during the outing. If you don't golf and would like to join us, please don't hesitate to come for 'dinner only' which is $30.00.
We will have men's and women's longest drive contests and also closest to the pin contests. We'll also have an optional 'skins' games that will be entered separately for $5.00 person and will be broken up into 2 flights, men's teams and mixed teams. Also some 50/50 drawings as is customary and of course plenty of door prizes.
