What is the Huron Valley Education Foundation?

The Huron Valley Educational Foundation is a nonprofit community-based partnership of public education and private philanthropy. The mission of the foundation is to generate and distribute financial resources to facilitate educational enrichment and innovation for the students and teachers of Huron Valley Schools. Foundation funds, which are supported solely by charitable, tax deductible contributions, support activities that allow students and teachers to engage in creative and innovative educational programs funded by Huron Valley.

Your $5 admission for Women's Enrichment Day is donated to the HVEF.  The community's support of this event has resulted in the following grants:

’08-’09 Grant
COLLEGE LIFE IS POSSIBLE (Teresa Morelli-Sobczak/Muir Middle)
Students will be going on a guided tour of Eastern Michigan University. They will experience a day in the life of a college student and will learn how their current choices today effect the decisions they have to make in their future. They will also see the special education support available at the collegiate level. In Honor of Women In Business, Highland Business Association Grant

’07-’08 Grant
VETERINARY SCIENCE EXPLORATION (Amanda Beckett/Lakeland High School)
